Cares Act Program
The City of Lauderdale Lakes, through Broward County’s Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security (CARES) act grant, will be providing financial assistance to homeowners and businesses that were negatively impacted by Covid-19 pandemic. Through the CARES Act grant, eligible businesses will be able to receive up to $8,000 and homeowners up to $10,000 in grant funding.
The grant will be assisting Lauderdale Lakes businesses with payment of rent or mortgage, electrical bill and internet services. Regarding homeowners, the grant will assist in paying rent or mortgage, electric bill, internet and cable services. Assistance will be provided to eligible businesses and homeowners on a first come- first qualified- first served basis and as long as funding is available. Please ensure that you complete, sign and notarize the appropriate forms listed on the checklist. Incomplete applications will be rejected. Applications will be accepted starting October 22nd 2020.
