Adopt-A-Street

The City of Lauderdale Lakes encourages local businesses and organizations to join the Public Works Department in the Adopt-A-Street Program, an existing partnership with Broward County to enhance the appearance of our community and beautify our roadways. By participating and “adopting” a road, you will directly contribute to the beautification of Lauderdale Lakes, improving your roadway's appearance and allowing maintenance crews to perform other services.

In return for “adopting” a half-mile or longer segment of a residential street and agreeing to pick up litter at least four times per year over a two-year period, we will proudly display your name or the name of your organization at the “adopted” road. This will give you the recognition you deserve and the satisfaction of knowing that you are doing something to keep Lauderdale Lakes beautiful.

If you are interested in participating in the Adopt-A-Street program, please contact the Litter Prevention Hotline at (954) 474-1835 or litterprevention@broward.org. For more information, visit the Broward County Adopt-a-Street website.
