Food Distribution In Time For the Holidays
LAUDERDALE LAKES, FL, December 18, 2015– The City of Lauderdale Lakes has partnered with Feeding South Florida to host a Food Distribution Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 9:00am until Noon. The distribution will take place at the Vincent Torres Park , 4331 NW 36th Street, Lauderdale Lakes, FL.
“This food distribution couldn’t have come at a better time with Christmas being days away,” said Mayor Barrington Russell, Sr. “We are constantly searching for ways to assist our residents. The economy is oftentimes discouraging so whenever we can lighten the load, we jump on the opportunity. “
The Food distribution will provide fresh fruits and vegetables among other food items to all who are available to stop by and pick up a bag or two of the items.
The City of Lauderdale Lakes is committed to its residents and believe in partnering with other organizations with that same commitment.
