Residents that use water from the City of Lauderdale Lakes canal system are hereby instructed to suspend this practice on the following days:

The Public Works Department and their contractors will be spraying herbicides in the canals to get rid of unwanted plants/weeds. Spraying will begin on Friday, September 4th and 11th. The chemical will be active for approximately 24 hours and could cause grass and other plants on your land to yellow.
All Spraying will be done by, and under the supervision of licensed professionals. The City will be applying the Chemical Clipper at the lowest recommended concentrations, 100 parts per billion, which is one-fourth the maximum concentration.
