[ARCHIVED] Tropical Storm Warning

Tropical Storm Warning

Tropical Storm Warning

We are closely monitoring the approaching tropical system. According to the National Weather Center, we are under a Tropical Storm Warning and expected to receive heavy rainfall this evening to early Saturday morning. As a result, we have canceled all events scheduled thru Sunday, June 6th. This includes the Mayor's Walk & Bike Fair.

We recommend the following:

1.    Drive with caution as street flooding may occur.

2.    If there are any flooding issues or storm water issues, please call 954-535-2700.

3.    Be sure all generators are topped off and ready to run.

We encourage families to have an emergency plan in place. Stock up on necessary items and stay tuned to the Lauderdale Lakes website and social media sites for up to date information regarding the storm, garbage pickup and other important items.

Stay safe.
