Beware of the Spring Break Traffic And Boil Water Notice

LAUDERDALE LAKES: Broward County will replace approximately 32,000 feet of water main, 20,000 feet of gravity sewer main located in the City of Lauderdale Lakes at the intersection of NW 36th Street and NW 43rd Avenue . This is a notice regarding scheduled maintenance for a 12-inch water main in the area near 4331 N.W. 36 Street in the City of Lauderdale Lakes, on Thursday March 13, 2017. The work will begin at approximately 9:00 AM and is estimated to last approximately four (4) hours. During this period, water service will be interrupted for one (1) commercial customer/service connection at the Vincent Torres Memorial Park (concession stand) in Lauderdale Lakes.
Traffic along N.W. 36 Street will be re-routed during the work period. The affected customers will be notified today of the planned maintenance event and will receive the Precautionary Boil Water Notice before water service is restored. The Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until bacteriological testing is complete to show that the water is safe to drink”. Please consider avoiding that area on the days mentioned if at all possible. Proper MOT signs will be posted and we will update you accordingly.
